Blackfoot, a Southern rock band from Jacksonville, Florida, are one of the lesser known Southern Rock bands of the 70's, a band that deserves to take their place along side Lynyrd Skynyrd, Black Oak Arkansas amd Molly Hatchet
They had broke in 1984, after a couple of years with Uriah Heep keyboard player Ken Hensley, regrouped in 1987 and broke up again after frontman Rickey Medlocke joined Skynyrd
The band reformed again in 2004 and despite some line-up changes has remained afloat ever since
In 2007 they recorded their biggest songs while touring leading to the April 21 release of Blackfoot - Train Train (Southern Rock's Best - Live)
