Canadian Pat Travers is one of the lesser known guitarists of the 70's perhaps but one of the most critically acclaimed. He picked up the guitar after seeing Hendrix in Ottowa at the age of 12 and put together the Pat Travers Band in 1978.
His most popular albums were 'Go For What You Know" (1979), a brilliant live album capturing him at what he did best. The second was 'Crash and Burn (1980)
He has pumped out 20 albums since then, the latest was 2007 Stick To What You Know, Live in Europe
