Yes are an incredible 40 years old this year.

They have officially announced a 2008 world tour, calledClose to the Edge and Back, featuring four of the originals, Jon Anderson, Chris Squire, Steve Howe, and Alan White

Oliver Wakeman, son of Rick, will take to the keyboards given that his Doctor has advised him to stay off touring.

There are 26 North American dates starting July 12 at Quebec City Festival, finishing August 22 at the Gibson Amphitheater, L.A.

A live album will be released sometime in summer 2008.

The most exciting thing is the 4 "lengthy, multi-movement compositions" for the tour which are "very, very different."

Jon Anderson has stated that he wishes to perform "Perpetual Change,", "Yours Is No Disgrace" "Awaken," "Close to the Edge," and "Heart of the Sunrise"

No new Yes music has been heard since 2001's Magnification, with Rick Wakeman in attendance
