I just got on to Last.fm, a pretty amazing program that allows you to listen to any music completely for free (am I the last person to hear about it)
When I say 'any music' I mean it.
If you listen to 'Gentle Giant', for example, a 70's prog rock band I thought was reasonably obscure (at least Down Under), then press similar artists, you get some 70's prog bands I was completely unaware of. I'm not talking about the Italian ones, I have never tried to tackle them.
But...
Eloy ? Gryphon ? Phideaux ? Greenslade ? Magic Pie ? Electric Sandwich ? Egg ?
Matching Mole ?
