Bon Scott. of course, was the lead singer of AC/DC from 1974-1980. He drank himself to death soon after the massive success of Highway to Hell and was followied by Brian Johnson, from Glam rock band Geordie.
Bon was always a little our of control, spending time in jail at 15 years old and being rejected from the Aussie Army for being 'socially maladjusted'.
His first band, at 16, was the Spektors. At 18 he formed The Valentines making the charts with 'Everyday I Have to Cry" and "Juliette"
In 1970 he went prog, joining Fraternity in Adelaide (renamed "Fang") and supported Status Quo. He then joined "Mount Lofty Rangers" but only briefly due to a motorcycle accident
