An interview with the beatles, conducted by Scottish TV in 1964 has resurfaced after being kept in a London garage for 40 years.
Ringo was asked if he ever got lonely sitting at the back of the stage
"I'm lucky being at the back, the other three have it worse than I do. That's where I am – a drummer should always be at the back."
John Lennon can be heard piping in "A drummer should be heard and not seen."
John was also asked about the relationship between the beatles and their fansI
"It's only getting in and out of places, when there's thousands all together,"
"You usually only meet at the most six or seven [fans], if you're running along the road."
