It's seems we have definitive news that AC/DC's new album will be released this August, their first since 2000's Stiff Upper Lip. They will follow The Eagles and many others and sell exclusivelt through Wal-Mart in the US.
The album will be produced by Brendan O'Brien, producer of albums by Rage Against The Machine, Stone Temple Pilots and Pearl Jam). I think, however, that we can sleep fairly safely in the knowledge that we wont be hearing a new sound from the band. Just the regular 'high voltage rock and roll'.
It also seems that this may be their last. Apparently they will go a "farewell" tour late 2008. They haven't really toured properly for 7 years.
