The Eagles had four nominations for the 2008 American Music Awards, including Album of the Year, Pop/Rock and Adult Contemporary for "Long Road out of Eden"
The remaining nominations are a combination of the good (Alicia Keys, Foo Fighters, Mary J Blige), the bad (Jordin Sparks, Casting Crows, Coldplay) and the ugly (Linkin Park, Enrique Iglesas, Jesse McCarteny)
