Before Fleetwood Mac: Christine Perfect and Chicken Shack

Chicken Shack are a British blues band, formed in the late 1960s and originally consisting of Christine Perfect, Stan Webb (guitar and vocals), Andy Silvester (bass guitar, later of Savoy Brown), and Alan Morley (drums).

The band were formed in 1967, naming after the chicken coop in Kidderminster where they rehearsed (plus the obvious blues reference)

Christine Perfect, of course, went on to become husband of John McVie (ie: Fleetwood Mac) but she was pretty popular in this band, voted by Melody Maker as top vocalist of the year (plus ' ten pair of legs in all Britain')
