Reggae Covers Rock: Rastafari ! Ten Perfect Examples

The Easy Star All-Stars are NY reggae group artists who specialize in covering popular albums in a reggae and dub style.

They have two under their belt so far: Pink Floyd's Dud Side of the Moon (2003) and Radiodread (2006), a reggae version of OK Computer.

There's alot more of this out there if you care to look

1. Werewolves of London by David Lindley, session musician with the likes of Jackson Browne, James Taylor, David Crosby, Terry Reid, Graham Nash, Bob Dylan, and Rod Stewart

2. Heaps of Led Zeppelin reggae covers by Dread Zeppelin who sport an Elvis impersenator as their lead singer.

3. Bob Marley famously covered Hotel California

4. Peter Tosh did Here Comes the Sun (also Johnny B Goode)

5. Aswad, 80's reggae band did Roxanne (but that was reggae in the first place)

6. Frankie Paul has done Us and Them (Pink Floyd)

7. 'Oh I forgot this excellent one: Is it Rolling Bob? Reggae tribute to Bob Dylan', featuring among others Sizzla, Luciano, Apple Gabriel, Gregory Isaacs and Beres Hammond.

8. There is a Beatles cover album called Mellow Dubmarine but I don't know who it's by

9. Dub Will Tear Us Apart by Jah Division

10. Also Never Mind the Dub Here's The Dub Pistols is a real album
