My ultimate supergroup would have to be something like, Brian Auger on Hammond Organ, Santana on Guitar, David Coverdale on Vocals, Billy Sheehan on Bass and (just screw everbody up) Art Blakey on drums......... here's the real thing

Oysterhead had the talent, but *not* the material! Thus, it made good sense not to include them in this list.
No idea how Bad Company was better than CSNY and all those Clapton bands....
Also, what about Temple of the Dog? Or the Traveling Wilburys? And a huge omission of Band of Gypsys. And I second the Oysterhead motion, those guys had some sick material.
